Sonic and the Black Knight Character Models

Rumors of Mario and Sonic at the Winter Games

That last Mario and Sonic rumor was false, but there's another rumor of Nintendo and Sega are teaming up again for a sequel to the popular Mario and Sonic game. The Spainish Nintendo magazine didn't say much info about the game, but said that Sega and Nintendo were making the second Mario and Sonic. The last rumor was wrong, but I'm guessing this rumor would be true

Well, Famitsu has confirmed it  isn't neither a Sonic nor Mario game, it's a parody title for the WiiWare, check what Famitsu has to say

Finally, Sega's Chindouchou! Pole no Daibouken (Eventful Journey! Pole's Big Adventure) is the retro-style game at which they've been hinting with a countdown page. The Famicom-esque game, releasing on February 3 for just 500 Points, seems to be riddled with jokes about other games -- the mushroom item seen on the countdown page actually comes out of bricks and increases the character's size just like in Super Mario Bros., but in this game it enlarges the character far beyond the limits of the screen.

Actually seems like a game worth of checking out.

A new Sega teaser site is out, but the teaser site has a Mushroom that looks like from the classic Super Mario Bros. game. It been rumored by a lot of people that Sega is going to make another Mario & Sonic game. I'm not sure if the rumors are true. Here's the link to the site:

NiGHTS: Journey into Dreams for PS3 and Xbox 360?

You may have heard of the popular Sonic Team game called NiGHTS: Journey into Dreams for the Nintendo Wii. Rumors said that the game would be going to be released for Mircosoft's Xbox 360 and Sony's PlayStation 3. This is what TSSZNews said:

In particular, it reveals an internal strife between Sonic Team and Sega of Japan, highlighted by the fact that NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams was originally developed as an Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 title - going so far as to say he (Ben Andac) played an Xbox 360 build of NiGHTS at one point. Upon witnessing the overnight success of the Wii, Sega of Japan apparently forced Sonic Team to retool the game for Nintendo’s lower-spec platform, something its producer (Takashi Iizuka) was not happy about. Despite the shift in platform, the game’s fast-approaching release date and limited development budget remained firmly unchanged, giving Sonic Team roughly one year to rebuild NiGHTS exclusively for the Wii (when most games typically take two years or more to develop). - tssznews.com

Fake News

Hello people of the Green Hill Zone, I Dannyboy the Dog come to you today with a breaking news report.

Today in Central City there was an uproar in the G.U.N headquarters when a full attack was preformed by none other than Dr. Eggman. G.U.N forces did there best fighting but everyone knows who showed up before the job was done. Sonic The Hedgehog. Sonic zoomed past robots destroying them in the paths as they marched to the G.U.N Headquarters. Sonic was not the only one on the scene though. His side kick and best friend Miles “Tails” Prower helped the fight from the sky as he flew over the city in his hand-built plane, the Tornado.

I was lucky enough to get a few words from Sonic, Tails, Eggman (who WAS behind bars at the time of the interview.) and the G.U.N Commander

Sonic: At first I was surprised at the sudden attack by Eggman, but that Egg-head had another thing coming if he thought he was going to take over the city just like that. I’ve stopped his most evil creations and he must be getting pretty desperate if a few robots were going to stop me.

Tails: I was test flying the Tornado since I just tuned it up with a few new surprises when I saw Sonic go speeding by under me. Then I saw the gun-fire coming from G.U.N forces and Eggman’s robots. I swooped down and started to fire the new missile systems on the larger robots so Sonic can take car of the smaller forces easier.

Eggman: Yes, Yes, Yes I know Sonic and Tails stopped me once again but this was just a test. I needed to scrap these older model robots anyway to make way for my new and spectacular robots. With my new machines I will conquer the world and Sonic will not stop me! Oh, did I just say my plan on National TV…Oh No please edit this out or Sonic will try and stop me at my new base in the Artic Zone…DOH!

G.U.N Commander: Dr. Eggman is no match for my soldiers. Here at Guardian Units of Nations our soldiers are trained for anything, whether it be a attack from Eggman or saving a kitten from a tree. Since Eggman is behind bars he will no longer be able to……*crashing noise* What was that? *Sirens are going off* Oh no.

We are now following the G.U.N Commander to the prison room where it seems Dr.Eggman has broken out of his cell.

G.U.N Commander: Well at least we know where he is going…

11-year old beated City Hall

Monthly Review Number 2. (It rhymes lol)

Hey guys and welcome to my second review here at Green Hill Zone. This game is Sonic’s first RPG or at least the only one I have ever heard of. If you guessed it was Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood give yourself a pat on the back and keep on reading. If not read on anyway.

The main plot of this game is that Knuckles was kidnapped while guarding the Chaos Emeralds. The kidnappers where a mysterious group called the Marauders by Sonic and friends. Leading these mysterious beings was Shade. I would tell you more about the plot but I wouldn’t want to spoil it for all of you.

The gameplay is played like most RPG’s that have the main map and then battle screen interface. If you run into an enemy you will fight that enemy along with others. Of you can flee from them like other games but in Sonic Chronicles it is a bit different. To flee or sometimes chase an enemy you have to avoid slowing down and reach the end before the enemy reaches you. If you are the one giving chase then you have to avoid slowing down and catch the enemy before it escapes.

Every area in this game has a lot to hide so be sure to check every area for collectibles like rings and Chao eggs to help power up Sonic and the gang. To fully explore the areas though you need the right character to get certain things done. You need flying characters like Tails to go long distances over gaps or Characters like Knuckles to climb tall structures.

This game has a pretty good variety of characters to use and each has there own special abilities. The playable characters in the game are: Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles “Tails” Prower, Knuckles the Echidna, Amy Rose, Rouge the Bat, Cream the Rabbit, Big the Cat, Shadow the Hedgehog, Dr. Eggman, E-123 Omega, and Shade. Each character has there own special abilities and powers to use on and off the battlefield so be sure to take a look at each one before you set up your four man team.
